Sun protection just got a whole lot more appealing with our seasonal stock of iPlay wide brimmed sun hats and brimmed flap hats in an assortment of colors and patterns. Hats feature a UPF 50+ protection from the sun. Matched with a pair of sunglasses, your little ones are sure to breeze through summer. We also carry these adorable locally handmade sun bonnets in a variety of patterns in sizes 0-6yrs.

Mama Goose has decided to carry a selection of products from Badger Balm because they are they are safe, effective, and environmentally conscious. Sunscreen for babies is available in a lotion. Sunscreens for toddler and kids come in lotions or in on-the-go sticks, and are water, sweat resistant & offer broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. They use no oxybenzone, octinoxate, or other chemical active sunscreening agents and are pediatrician tested & approved safe for babies & kids. They are also hypoallergenic, biodegradable and safe for coral reefs and other ecosystems.

Additionally, we carry Badger Anti- Bug Balm which is safe and proven effective! Made of organic citronella, cedar, and lemongrass essential oils to naturally repel insects. It smells good, works – without DEET, petrolatum, or other chemicals. We also chose some aromatherapy sticks that are portable and easy to use. Choose from Focus, Stress Soother, or Headache Soother balms. Stop by between 12pm-5pm Thursday 5/28 (Ithaca Festival Parade Day) for Free Face Painting, Washable Tattoos, Snacks, Coloring & Fun! Get your kids ready for the parade with some festive facial flair. Our talented staff members will be on hand to bring your child’s vision to life. We will be using our Natural Earth Paints which we love and think you will too. We will also have a bean-bag toss and light refreshments, so your kids will be snacked, hydrated and ready to go the distance! Our customers often tell us that maternity and nursing apparel in Ithaca is hard to come by. Mama Goose offers a section of gently-used maternity and nursing wear, as well as select new items for pregnant and nursing Mamas. Currently in stock, we have a great selection of Majamas Organic Daily Bras which are comfortable to wear during pregnancy and are perfect for nursing. When the time comes that you are no longer nursing, these versatile bras can be used as a comfortable everyday bra.  They are made of super soft, organic cotton and give an amazing amount of support for such a lightweight bra.  Our selection of  Majamas Organic bras was a special purchase, so they are only in stock while supplies last. We love organic cloth nursing pads because they are eco-friendly and breathable, and don’t contain plastics or chemicals that can irritate your skin. They are also easy to wash and dry along with your babies’ clothes.

We currently carry two brands of nursing pads: Under The Nile reusable nursing pads & Fresh Moon Organic Bamboo/Wool Breastpads. Under The Under The Nile pads are made with certified organic Egyptian cotton, and the outer layer is soft flannel knit, with one layer of terry liner. This combination makes them very absorbent, and still thin enough to not show through your blouse. Fresh Moon Breastpads are made with one layer of organic bamboo velour, one layer of hemp, and backed with a layer of wool interlock. This combination of layering provides supreme protection even during nursing letdown, inhibits bacterial growth while the natural oils help prevent the material from sticking to the skin.
